Owl Coat Rack

I finally got around to making a coat rack to match my owl and hedgehog bookends.  This coat rack was based around the Love and Nature bedding set as well.  This project isn’t actually finished yet, but I thought I would post a picture of how it’s looking so far. Free SVG Christmas Card

I put a new svg on the Craft Edge website of these two trees that I put on my card.  You can find them under the Holidays link and they’re called Snowy Trees.  I thought I should make something with them to show how they can look, seeing as they don’t look like a very exciting svg.  I can’t honestly say that I love this card, it was just something I quickly threw together, but anybody with more card making skills than me I’m sure would be able to do something much nicer with this svg! Owl Bookends

Here’s my newest set of owl bookends that I started yesterday.  I painted them pink and tan, and covered them with orange, green, and pink papers.  I painted the bookends a really light icy blue, pink for the edges, and white for the outside.  I also added flowers and hearts to the bookends and some little silver gems at the bottom corner of each one.  The eyes also have little gems in them just for some added sparkle. Hedgehog Bookends

I just finished a new set of hedgehog bookends.  This set was designed around the Love and Nature bedding which features owls, hedgehogs, birds, trees and mushrooms.  I did my bookends with the hedgehogs and mushrooms, and added some hearts and flowers.  You can view another set I did with the owls in a previous post.  These hedgehog bookends would go great with some owl shelf decorations or wall hangings (which I haven’t made yet, but plan to) in a bedroom decorated with this style of decor.  Click here to view this set for sale in my...

New ABC 123 Bookends

I finally finished the silver and taupe set of ABC 123 bookends I’ve been working on for ages.  I used papers in grey, taupe, white and black and colored the edges of the blocks with silver distressing ink.  I did the edges with brown ink first, and it looked terrible, so I went over it all again with silver and they looked much better.  Probably better than if I’d just done them in silver to begin with because now it’s a dark silver and the edges stand out better. Love and Nature Bookends

I just finished a set of bookends I did for a customer to match her daughter’s bedroom set.  I found that these bookends match the Love and Nature bedding collection available at Target (I’m not sure if this is the bedding set my customer has as I went by photos she sent me).  The set is really cute with owls, birds and hedgehogs. I did these owls in pink and green paint, and added papers in pinks, greens, orange, and blues.  I also added some patterned flowers, as well as pink and blue hearts, to the ends.  The flowers stand out in the pictures but they...

Free Stocking SVG

I just added a new stocking svg to the craft edge website.  It’s titled Classic Stocking.  This is a quick example of what I did with my svg.  I cut out the stocking in red paper using ‘Blackout’.  I then cut it out in ‘Normal’ in white and snipped the top off.  I glittered the bottom in red and the top with white.  (Remember you don’t have to glitter the top of the stocking because it’ll be covered with the white part.  I made that mistake.)
