Monogrammed Wood Heart

I recently created this cute wood heart, which I made out of three pieces of 3.5″ pine.  I cut each piece, then painted them a pretty Terrace White.  I then glued them together, and added wood strips to the back for a stronger hold.  I cut out my letter B stencil, as well as my Est. date and name.  The B was painted Washed Teal, and the name and date were done in Martha Stewart’s Grey Wolf. Chalkboard Christmas Countdown Blocks

I ordered some chalkboard vinyl ages ago, and have never done anything with it.  I decided to finally make a set of Christmas countdown blocks with it.  I cut two squares out of a 2×4, measuring 3.5″ high and wide, then I cut a 2 x 2 at 7″ long.  I painted my square blocks red, and the bottom block green, and added some Christmas themed papers to each.  The bottom is just red cardstock, embossed with little dots.  I like to keep anything that’s going to have writing on fairly solid, so the words are easy to read. HOME Blocks

I felt like getting crafty today with all my unfinished wood, so I decided to make a set of HOME blocks.  I used 1 x 4 pine wood, cut into 4 inch tall blocks, and set them on a 2 x 2 square piece of pine cut at 14 inches long.  I picked out some mostly teal, black and grey patterned scrapbook papers for my background, and used grey cardstock for the lettering.  I cut the letters out with my handy dandy Cricut machine and mod podged everything on.  After clear coating all the blocks, I decorated them with some paper flowers, ribbon, and gems.  I’m really happy...

Witch Boot SVG

I received my October issue of the Cricut magazine yesterday.  I was so excited considering I thought my subscription was up!  I was even thumbing through the last issue I got a couple of days ago looking for Halloween ideas, but of course didn’t really find anything.  This issue has lots of cute ideas, so I was definitely inspired to make something! On page 20 they created a couple of pictures on canvas boards using the Happy Hauntings Cricut cartridge.  They did a hat on one,  and a witch’s boot on the other.  I don’t yet have this cartridge but I...
