I put a new svg on the Craft Edge website of these two trees that I put on my card. You can find them under the Holidays link and they’re called Snowy Trees. I thought I should make something with them to show how they can look, seeing as they don’t look like a very exciting svg. I can’t honestly say that I love this card, it was just something I quickly threw together, but anybody with more card making skills than me I’m sure would be able to do something much nicer with this svg!
I used my Xyron machine to get the trees sticky, then I sprinkled them with glittery white sparkles. I have to say that once the trees are glittered they look really nice. They actually turned out to be my favorite thing about this card. I also used red cardstock and some cute paper that I got out of the Martha Stewart Holidays punch pad at Michaels. There are about ten different patterns in the pad to choose from, and each page has been scored at the top for easy removal. I also used a few red gems just to fill in the empty spaces and this Merry Christmas embossing folder for the Cuttlebug.
If anyone does make anything with these trees I’d love it if you emailed a photo to me to feature on my blog. You can send photos to krista@craftycanada.com.
