Here’s a set of Valentine’s blocks I created with some pined wood, paper, and vinyl. I cut my blocks at 3.5″, 4″, and 4.5″, and painted them an antique white. I picked some cute Valentine’s day paper, and cut them just a bit smaller than my blocks. I trimmed the corners with my rounded corner punch, and stuck them on with some mod podge. (I meant to ink the edges before sticking them on, but forgot) I cut my vinyl out to spell the word LOVE, and tried to do them smaller than my paper (I screwed up with the O though). If you don’t have vinyl you can always just use paper and mod podge them on, buy stickers, or stencil the letters on with a marker. I put a coating of mod podge over my letters just to seal everything in, and gave them all a clear coat. Then to finish it all off I added a couple different ribbons. Buttons and gems would be a nice addition as well! So easy to do, and a great project to do with kids as well. If you can’t get your hands on wood, check out my Crafty Canada Shop, and I sell it there!
