Owl Coat Rack

I finally got around to making a coat rack to match my owl and hedgehog bookends.  This coat rack was based around the Love and Nature bedding set as well.  This project isn’t actually finished yet, but I thought I would post a picture of how it’s looking so far.

I cut the branch out of 3/4″ mdf and plan to glue the green leaves on to it (right now they’re just sitting there).  I also want to make new owls for it but I sat a set I currently have on hand on top just to see how it would look.  I also added two faux crystal knobs to it as my coat pegs.  I just like the way they sparkle, they’re very girly looking.  I’m not sure I’m going to use these exact knobs though, I saw another similar knob at Home Depot that I like as well.  It’s also a little smaller so it might be a better fit for this set.

Sorry for the poor picture quality.  My lighting isn’t very good right now 🙁
