Finished My Name Blocks

I got the name blocks finished last night I started on a couple of days ago.  I didn’t get to put a clear coat finish on them though, so hopefully they’ll last alright.  I was a bit rushed though.  I wasn’t home all day yesterday as we went to Chilliwack for a big RV show.  That was a four hour drive each way, so as soon as I got home last night I finished them up.  I added on some pink and black flowers, ribbon, buttons, and some pink jewels.  I’m hoping I didn’t over embellish them, but they are for a four year old, so I think they still look cute.  Here’s a link to a photo.

I was just looking under the headlines column at the top of the page and clicked on What’s Hot.  I found a neat idea for a ribbon box that I want to try make.  I don’t know where to find the boxes they use, but I think I can probably find a box SVG at the Craftedge website to use.  It’s a really good idea.  My ribbon drawer is a disaster area.  I have no ribbon organization whatsoever.  So if you get a chance, check it out, there’s some good ideas there.  If I get a box made I’ll post pictures and the free SVG I use!
